What we collect, and what we don't.

PassionOS is early-stage. This page describes what the product actually does today, plainly — it will be replaced by a formal policy as the product and team grow, not the other way around.

What we collect

  • Your phone number, to sign you in — there are no passwords or email accounts.
  • Anything you choose to add to your profile: display name, city, bio, philosophy, languages you speak.
  • Your real membership history: which communities you've asked to join, and their real status.
  • The hello message you send an organizer when you ask to join their community.
  • Your real RSVPs to gatherings.

What we don't do

  • We don't run any third-party analytics or ad-tracking scripts. There's nothing to opt out of.
  • We don't sell your data, to anyone, ever.
  • We don't show ads.
  • We never invent or inflate a number about you or a community you're part of.

Who can see what

Your phone number is private — it's never shown on your public profile, and an organizer deciding on your join request sees it only because they need a way to reach you about that one community. Your public profile (name, city, bio, communities, trust signals) is visible to anyone with the link; there's no separate private-profile mode yet.

Your session

Staying signed in relies on one cookie holding a random session token — not a JWT with your data baked into it, and not shared with anyone. Signing out deletes that session for real, not just on your device.
